What is flock wallpaper?

Flock wallpaper is made by applying fine fibres to a printed design, creating a raised, velvet-like surface. The technique has a long decorative history.

Is flock wallpaper durable?

Modern flock wallpaper is more robust than its appearance might suggest. Our collection is designed for both residential and commercial interiors. We use a heavy weight substrate which strengthens the wallcovering and enables a smooth installation.

How do you clean flock wallpaper?

Flock wallpaper should be treated gently to preserve its velvety finish. Light dust can be removed using a soft brush or a vacuum with a suitable soft brush attachment on low suction. Avoid rubbing, scrubbing or using water and cleaning products directly on the flock.

Is flock wallpaper difficult to hang?

The flock wallpapers are non-wovens which means you paste the wall rather than the back of the paper, and this makes them straightforward to install. It's best to avoid getting any paste on the surface. Full hanging instructions can be viewed here and are also supplied with the rolls.

Can I order a sample of flock wallpaper?

Of course! We recommend ordering a sample before purchasing, as the texture and appearance of flock are difficult to appreciate fully on screen. A sample allows you to see how the design responds to light and works alongside other materials and finishes in your space.
